A message from our church

Dear Faithful,

.......The Armenian Apostolic Church of La Verne has been serving the La Verne and surrounding communities for over 15 years, providing Christian comfort and spiritual and religious guidance in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These past 15 years have been challenging ones for the church due in part to lack of community presence, commitments unkept, financial strain, changes in locations and today, the current economic situation. However, despite the challenges, an active group of faithful continuously and tenaciously cling to the Christian faith as delivered to us by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and keep the flame alive with a dream of building an Armenian Apostolic Church in the heart of the Inland Empire – spiritual and physical church.

.........It is with that dream in sight that today we invite you, our faithful, to be part of this church. Remember, we are here to cater to all of your spiritual needs, regardless your age, gender, health situation, origin, and political views. The Armenian Church of La Verne is your home. If you have been away from your church for some reason or other, please, come back, we are waiting for you, we need you. We are an embracing church, and here you can find peace of mind and a safe haven. We are at an important juncture in the process of community building. Join us in thoughts, opinions and ideas. Your input is essential if we are to progress to the next step. Together, we can share our concerns and thoughts, our doubts and hopes, and build a place of worship that reflects the 17oo years of history of our struggles in defense of our faith, in defense of our culture and our identity. We call upon you in the words of our Sharagan, “Come, Let Us Build the Holy Altar of Light.”

God Bless You.
